Just a quick note to let everyone know that the pictures we have from Lisa and Ben's wedding are up in the gallery. It was a beautiful day! We will have video up soon also. If you have any pictures you want included just send them to Michael or I and we will get them up!
This is really exciting news, and I suggest anyone who is interested in running Linux celebrate by giving Debian a try. I built my current system using their phenomenal network-install, which is probably the easiest way to go until Ian Murdock finishes Progeny.
Congratulations, thanks, and a kettle of tasty fish to the whole Debian developer team, who have worked tirelessly to create one of the greatest free distros in the world.
If you have the means, here is a cause that is really tugging at my heart, give what you can, if you can. This family needs every little bit of help they can get.
It's not as funny if you haven't seen Episode III or heard how it ends, though.
Someone at work told me about Not Pr0n, a puzzle game where you have to figure out how to get to the next level (hopefully without cheating). It's pretty entertaining - so far I've made it to level 10.
I'm proud to say that I'm on the core team of the Gallery project, the software that powers Our Photo Gallery as well as hundreds of thousands of other galleries on the Internet. If you enjoy our gallery (or any other), consider Donating to the Gallery project.
If you've ever wondered how a lightsaber, the elegant armament of Jedi knights (and evil Sith) works, wonder no more. HowStuffWorks.com has an article on How Lightsabers work. May the force be with you!
On April 23rd and 24th, I attended Star Wars Celebration III at the Indiana Convention Center. I'll post a full writeup later, but for now, I just wanted to say that I just purchased the exclusive Star Wars Celebration III T-shirts and poster from the one-week only CIII shop at StarWarsShop.com - it took just a few minutes to complete my order and I was able to pay about the same price as I would have paid at the convention, without having to waste an entire day (literally) standing in line for the store. I was able to spend my days at the convention attending interesting talks and browsing the exhibits, rather than seeing nothing other than the store. Go me!
