Home from DebConf 9

I made it back to Indianapolis yesterday evening around 9:00 PM EDT (0300 CEST, 0100 UTC). The only issue I had with the entire trip home was with the last leg of my trip (DTW-IND) and that was just a 30 minute delay and the airline moving the flight to a different gate 3-4 times. Fortunately, Orbitz sent me an SMS with each gate change so I was able to learn of the gate change despite my reduced visual acuity. I had no trouble navigating MAD or AMS (or DTW or IND for that matter).

I had a great time at DebConf 9 and it was by far the most hassle free traveling to DebConf yet for me. I'm looking forward to attending future DebConfs and hope to see you in New York next year!

DebConf is the Debian

DebConf is the Debian Project's developer conference. In addition to a full schedule of technical, social and policy talks, DebConf provides an opportunity for developers, contributors and other interested people to meet in person and work together more closely. It has taken place annually since 2000 in locations as varied as Canada, Finland and Mexico mcp test.
Previous Debian Conferences have featured speakers from around the world. They have also been extremely beneficial for developing key Debian software components, including the new Debian Installer, and for improving Debian's internationalization. Development teams like debian-installer and debian-edu also have the possibility of meeting beforehand for undisturbed collaborative work. However, note that only the basic necessities like bed and network connection will be provided at that time mcse 2003. Interested teams should contact the organizers upfront to make special arrangements. DebCamp will take place from July 16th until July 23rd 2009. Meanwhile, decision-makers who are interested in discovering the benefits of Free Software and Debian users are invited to attend DebConf Open Day.
