I've had the pleasure of attending Ohio LinuxFest for the past four years and am looking forward to attending again on September 26. This year's theme is "40 Years of Unix." Each OLF I've attended has been a great experience and this year's OLF is sure to be excellent as well.
After Ohio LinuxFest, I went to dinner at a great Fish & Chips place in Columbus with a bunch of HP Open Source and Linux Organization (OSLO) guys (and Bdale's daughter). Not only was the Fish & Chips great, it was also All You Can Eat. Everyone ordered Fish & Chips and some of us partook of the All You Can Eat.
Bdale had rented a Mazda 6 while in Columbus and it's not a large car. After dinner, most of us wedged into the Mazda 6 to go back downtown to the hotels or convention center. I pondered, "How many Open Source guys can fit in a Mazda 6?" and Bdale's daughter replied with "It depends on how much fish they ate"
Good times :)
Columbus, Ohio apparently has (at least) two convention centers, or at least the GPS in my phone thought so. Fortunately while driving around looking for parking, I saw the signs for the convention center that Ohio LinuxFest was being held at.
